Can Tua Tagovailoa Save the Paramount Plus Stars With a Grappling Hook? Video Analysis of a Fun Commercial

I really like this Paramount Plus commercial. It’s amazing to see both Tua Tagovailoa and Captain Jean-Luc Picard together in the same scene (along with a bunch of other cool people). The basic premise is that the group is trying to get a grappling hook on top of a tall wall to escape a mountain. Check it out.

I could just watch this commercial, eat my popcorn and then move on — but NO. I can’t let it go. This is a great opportunity to really over analyze this obviously fake situation. It’s just what I do.

How tall is the cliff?

Of course I’m going to use video analysis to look at this clip. I often use Tracker Video Analysis — it’s the software that I’ve been using for quite some time, so it’s difficult to use anything else. But it’s not just useful for videos — you can also use it on a a picture (or single frame).

Here’s a scene where we see our Paramount heroes along with the cliff. It seems like they are close enough to the base of the cliff that it would be possible to use the height of a known person (like Tua Tagovailoa at 6"1') to determine the height of the rocks.
