If you want to claim that you are a Star Trek fan, then you MUST watch Star Trek: Lower Decks. Oh sure, it’s a cartoon. Yes, it’s funny — but it’s still one of the BEST Star Trek shows out there. Go watch it.

OK, now I have to make a point that’s somewhat important. I don’t think Lower Decks is great because of the science (not that the science is bad). It’s great because of all of its connections to other Star Trek shows and because of the great characters. On top of that, sometimes writers make stuff just to complete a plot — and that’s just totally fine. It’s not a physics course, it’s a story.

Klingon Trials

In order to assist the Klingon Ma’ah to regain his position as a captain, Mariner and Boimler (and Ma’ah’s brother Malor) attempt to complete a series of Klingon trials.
