As a huge Star Wars fan and also a physics nerd, I am legally required to give you an analysis of the final scene in The Acolyte episode 4. Obviously, some spoilers are ahead. But let’s be real, if you clicked on this link thinking there wouldn’t be any spoilers then you are just going to be disappointed.

SPOILER ALERT

There was your warning.

OK, let’s talk about the scene for the two readers that didn’t see the show and are still here (I welcome you). All you need to know is that there is a Sith master (or would it be Sith Lord) facing off against a band of 8 Jedi (at least I think there are 8). We don’t really know much about this Sith right now and even if he is a Sith. I saw that some people call him Darth Smiley (because his helmet has a smile) and I think that’s cool.

Anyway, the Jedi ignite their light sabers and start running towards the Sith to do some cool Star Wars type battle. But wait! Darth Smiley says “I don’t think so” and with his hand (I am assuming a gender of “he”, but who knows) he uses The Force and sends all the Jedi flying backwards. Nobody knows what happens next because the episode ended.

But you didn’t come here for Star Wars, you came for the physics. Let’s get to it.

The Force of the Force
